1. Portugal - Guest of Honor
We are delighted to present Portugal as Guest of Honor at the 2025 edition. We are exploring the rich tradition of Portuguese literature and the influence of Portugal on world literature.
2. Celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Festival
The Festival will celebrate its 30th anniversary and will be an exceptional commemoration, for example through retrospectives on the history of the Festival, annual programmes looking at the development of the literary world over the past three decades or discussions focused on the future, on where literature is heading.
3. "30! The energy of youth - the wisdom of books".
The motto of the festival for 2025 is "30! The energy of youth - the wisdom of books". The slogan highlights the dynamic interplay between the creativity of young creators and the wisdom contained in literature.
