For the 29th edition in 2024, the long-term programme "Das Buch" - German-language literature - has been chosen as the guest of honor. The project is jointly prepared by the Goethe-Institut of the Czech Republic, the Austrian Cultural Forum in Prague and the Embassy of the Swiss Confederation.
The Book World Prague 2024 will again be held in all the newly renovated Křižík pavilions, with the programme part taking place in the outdoor stages of the Prague Exhibition Grounds, which this year will be newly named after classic Czech authors. You can already see the new names of the stages in the event plan for 2024.
We will also engage in activities commemorating the centenary of Franz Kafka's death.
