Siarhiej Ablameyka (Сяргей Абламейка) is a historian, doctor of historical sciences, author of dozens of publications on Belarusian history. He has been working as a journalist for Radio Free Europe since 1990 and in the Prague newsroom since 1995. He has been an active participant and organiser of the civic and revival movement in Belarus since the times of Perestroika. He has published 7 books, e.g. EGOisms (EGOізмы, 2004), My Carthage (Мой Картаген, 2015), Nostalgia (Настальгія, 2014), Unknown Mensk: History of the Disappearance of the City (Невядомы Менск. Гісторыя знікнення, 2021) etc.
