The literary programme entitled Das Buch: German-Language Literature is prepared by the Goethe-Institut, the Austrian Cultural Forum and the Embassy of the Swiss Confederation in the Czech Republic. The 19th edition of this programme features meetings with authors who will present new translations of their books among other things. The Das Buch booth offers a coffee bar, German-language books and textbooks the visitors can buy and a collection of foreign translation support.

In addition to political and economic diplomacy, the embassy is also active in the area of culture. Every year, it invites writers to Book World Prague as part of the Das Buch literary programme which promotes contemporary German-language literature. This is the first time Switzerland is also presented as part of the Francophone booth and programmes. The embassy also organizes other cultural events and supports Swiss-related projects in the Czech Republic.
