Poet, performer, essayist, and literary scholar. She is the author of four poetry collections. Co-author of the children’s book about prominent Ukrainian women "Це теж зробила вона" [She Did It Too] (2018). Her poems and short stories have been translated into dozens of languages and published in several Ukrainian and international journals and anthologies. She gives lectures and workshops on performance, translation, and blackout poetry, and has organized literary events for major Ukrainian institutions and festivals. She is a laureate of numerous literary competitions and a recipient of scholarships from the President of Ukraine, the International Writers’ and Translators’ House, and others. Daryna Hladun’s poems are often set to music and used in various theatre productions, poetry performances, and art exhibitions around the world.
