Craig Brown

Craig Brown is an English critic, satirist, and columnist, known for his parliamentary sketches, humorous columns, and parodies published in newspapers and magazines such as The Times, Daily Mail, and Private Eye. He is considered one of the most prominent British satirists of his generation and has been associated with Private Eyesince 1989. His work is characterized by a distinctive, unconventional biographical style based on anecdotes, irony, and sharp observation. He has received a number of awards for his books, including Ma’am Darling: 99 Glimpses of Princess Margaret and One Two Three Four: The Beatles in Time. At the festival he will present his book A Voyage Around the Queen.
