Musician, director and comic book writer. Since childhood he has loved piano and improvisation, which led him to Berklee College of Music in Boston. He has played with legends such as Benny Golson, Sérgio Godinho and Sheila Jordan, composed music for film and theatre and performed with major Portuguese orchestras. His short films Sleepwalk and O Lobo Solitário won the Portuguese Sophia Awards and one of them was shortlisted for the Oscars. His comics have been published in several countries and his book Balada para Sophie was nominated for the Eisner Award.
