Barbara Woźniak

Novelist, essayist, gerontologist, sociologist, religious studies scholar and lecturer of creative writing. Author of the novel Niejedno (2021), following the life of a bioethicist who cares for his Alzheimer-afflicted father; the book won the Witold Gombrowicz Prize and the Krakow UNESCO City of Literature Award. She lectures at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow (e.g. euthanasia in The Third Reich) and is currently participating in the Connecting Emerging Literary Artists (CELA) project, supporting authors, translators and editors.
