Hengameh Yaghoobifarah

Hengameh Yaghoobifarah studied Media Studies and Scandinavian Studies in Freiburg and Linköping. After a brief stay in Vienna, they moved to Berlin in 2014 and have been working at Missy Magazine ever since. In addition to their editorial work, Yaghoobifarah writes freelance for various German-language media outlets, including their Habibitus column for taz magazine, which has been running since 2016 and was published as a collected edition in 2023. They are also active on social media. In 2019, Yaghoobifarah co-edited the highly acclaimed anthology Eure Heimat ist unser Albtraum with Fatma Aydemir. Their debut novel, Ministerium der Träume (2021), became a bestseller, followed by their second novel, Schwindel, in 2024.
