A sex education teacher and author based in Bonn. She is passionate about developing sex education projects for school children, which have inspired many questions explored in her award-winning educational books Klär mich auf (2014) and Klär mich weiter auf (2018). In collaboration with illustrator Anke Kuhl, she has also published Das Liebesleben der Tiere (2017) and AnyBody (2021). Her latest book, Radieschen von unten(2023), offers children a thoughtful yet often humorous exploration of death and dying. It was nominated for the German Youth Literature Award and selected for the 2024 White Ravens list. The Czech translation by Kateřina Klabanová is published by Cesta domů.
