She worked at prestigious academic institutions, including Oxford and Princeton. Her commitment to the quest for knowledge is evident in her extensive academic career, in which she has made significant contributions to the fields of practical philosophy, human values, and the concept of a life worth living. Her thought-provoking work has been recognized and celebrated, as evidenced by the success of her book A Life Worth Living?. In addition to her academic work, she is devoted to her daughter.
