Maria Zimmermann studied the mediation of art and design at the Zurich University of the Arts. She published her master’s thesis, the book 299 Dresses, at her own expense. Since 2018, she has been working as a textile artist, and under the brand Alles wird gut./Everything will be ok., she is spreading small embroideries on clothes into the world. Her larger works also adorn record covers or walls. After being diagnosed with autism, she decided to tackle the subject with language and distinctive illustrations in her debut book Different, Not Wrong.
