Nando von Arb is a graphic designer from Zurich, Switzerland. He graduated from fiction illustration at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. In early 2019, his first graphic novel Drei Väter (Three Fathers) with autobiographical elements was published by Edition Moderne, Zurich, and won the Swiss Children’s and Youth Book Award. He subsequently lived and worked in Ghent, Belgium, where he also obtained a master’s degree in illustration from the LUCA School of Art. He is now back in Zurich and works as a freelance illustrator and comic book author. His second graphic novel, Fürchten lernen [Learning to fear], was published in 2023.
