This Taiwanese author graduated from the Institute of Creative Writing and English Literature at Tunghua University. He works as an editor of children’s publications and tells stories to children in a library, thus growing up with them himself. He thinks that growing up is a good thing because we have to take some responsibility for the weight of this world. He has written the essay collections My Ant Father, Ordinary Love, My Mother Was a Young Artist and the short story collection I’ve Been Waiting for You and Read This and has won the Lin Rong San Foundation Literary Award, the Grand Prize in the nonfiction category at the Taipei International Book Exhibition and was nominated for the Golden Award of the Taiwan Literary Awards.
