Egoyan Zheng was born in 1977. He studied psychology and medicine at Taiwan’s top universities and holds an MA in Chinese Literature. He also took part in the Literarisches Colloquium Berlin and the International Writers’ Workshop in Hong Kong. One of Taiwan’s most acclaimed young writers, novelist and poet has garnered numerous literary awards at home and abroad, including nominations for the 2007 Man Asia Literature Prize and the 2008 Frank O’Connor Short Story Award. His work Ground Zero has been translated into Japanese, Korean, and Czech.
