Daniel Ordóñez

The Spanish author studied Slavic Languages at the Granada University and spent two years at Russian universities. He worked as a translator of Czech and Russian languages and taught Spanish language and literature in Slovenia and Slovakia. He has lived in Prague since 2009, where he worked for the Spanish service of Radio Prague and collaborated with the Cervantes Institute. Nowadays, he works for the Czech Centre Madrid. His first literary translation was El Molino de momias (Mlýn na mumie) by Petr Stančík, followed by his translations Llegó del mar (Přišla z moře), by Miloš Urban, and El lago (Jezero), by Bianca Bellová.
