Saša Stojanović is the author of several novels, including Bloodhounds, Manchester City Blues, War, The Last Day of God Saturn, The Road to Jericho, and The Sea While I’m Dreaming. His short story collections Melting Points and Stories About the End, along with his column collection Bundles and Slaves (Danas magazine), have earned him recognition across Europe. His novel Var (Svar, Dauphin) was shortlisted for Lidové noviny’s Book of the Year (losing only to Umberto Eco) and earned translator Jan Doležal bronze medal at the Czech Republic’s Josef Jungmann Awards. Stojanović’s work has been translated into Czech, Italian, and Polish, with more languages forthcoming. He is Editor-in-Chief of Think Tank Magazine and Director of the Think Tank Town Literature Festival, as well as a member of the Czech PEN Club.
