She is a writer and painter. She was born in Prostějov and has exhibited in the Czech Republic and in France. She has published several books in French, including Entre Seine et Vltava (with Anne Delaflotte Mehdevi, éditions Non Lieu, 2014; in Czech Praha – Paříž, do vlastních rukou, Argo, second edition 2019), Giboulées de soleil (Prix Renaudot des lycéens, éditions Alma, 2016; in Czech Marie a Magdalény, Argo, 2017) and Verrière sous le ciel (éditions Alma, 2018; in Czech Grófka, Argo, 2019). Her books published only in Czech are Provence jako sen (NLN, 2010), andLanýže (NLN, 2011). At the Prague Book Fair 2021, she will present her latest novel La symphonie du nouveau monde (Symfonie o novém světě), which was published in Czech in 2020 by Argo.
